How to Restore Deleted Content
Sometimes accidents happen - you might delete something unintentionally, or remove a tour you thought you no longer needed, only to regret it later. The Bin feature in Product Fruits gives you peace of mind by allowing you to recover deleted items for up to 60 days from the date of deletion.
The following content types can be restored:
- Tours
- Hints
- Checklists
- Surveys
- Announcements
- Mobile Announcements
- Segments
- Custom Events
Accessing the Bin
To access your deleted content, click the trash can icon in the navigation bar. A table will open, showing the following details for each deleted item:
- Name of the deleted item
- Type of content
- Date of deletion: including the exact day and time
- Deleted by: the username and email address of the person who removed it
How to Recover Items
Restoring an item brings it back as a draft on the main product page, even if it was originally published.
When you hover over an item in the Bin, a Restore button will appear on the right, so you can quickly recover it.
If you want to recover multiple items at once, simply check the boxes in front of them. You can either select all items in the list or just a few specific ones. Once you start selecting, a toolbar will appear at the bottom of the screen showing the number of selected items, along with a Recover button.
Filter and Search
When the Bin contains many deleted items, it can be difficult to find the one you’re looking for just by scrolling. To save time, you can use the search bar at the top of the table to quickly locate an item by its name.
In addition to searching by name, you can also use filters to narrow down the list and make it easier to manage large volumes of deleted content. You can filter by:
- Type of content: e.g., tours, surveys, announcements
- Date of deletion: a specific day or time range
- Deleted by: the team member who removed the item
