How to Look for Help
When you're learning a new platform, the hardest part is often just knowing where to ask your question.
Product Fruits gives you a few different ways to get help. Some are best for step by step instructions, some are better for quick answers, and some are meant for setup specific issues.
Use the Knowledge Base First
The Knowledge Base is the best place to start when you need a clear explanation or setup instructions. Use it when you want to:
- Learn how a feature works
- Follow step by step setup instructions
- Understand what a setting means
- Check requirements or limitations
- Troubleshoot a common issue
Try searching for the feature name or the action you want to complete. For example:
- "install Product Fruits"
- "Chrome extension"
- "tour not showing"
- "segmentation"
- "full preview"
- "Life Ring Button"
Ask Elvin for Quick Questions
Elvin can help when you want a quick answer, or when you're not sure which article to open. You can ask questions in normal language, such as:
- "How do I test a tour before publishing?"
- "Why is my hint not showing?"
- "Where do I find the Chrome extension?"
- "What is segmentation?"
Elvin is useful when you know what you want to do but don't yet know the right Product Fruits term for it.
Contact Tech Support for Setup Issues
Contact Tech Support when something in your actual setup isn't working as expected. Tech Support is the right place for questions about:
- Product Fruits not loading
- Installation issues
- Content not appearing
- Unexpected editor behavior
- Targeting or segmentation problems
- Workspace specific problems
If you contact support, try to include as much context as you can. Mention the workspace, the feature you're using, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. It makes a real difference in how quickly we can help.
Use Feedback for Suggestions
Feedback is useful when you want to suggest an improvement or share product ideas.
For urgent questions, setup issues, or troubleshooting, use the Knowledge Base, Elvin, or Tech Support instead. Feedback is valuable, but it's not always the fastest way to get help.
