Sign Up, Create a Workspace, and Invite Your Team

This article walks you through creating your Product Fruits account, setting up your first workspace, and deciding whether to invite your team now or later.

You don't need to get everything perfect during your first setup. Start with the basics, then adjust your workspace and team access whenever you're ready.

Sign Up With Your Company Email

Start by signing up for Product Fruits with your company email address.

Product Fruits doesn't accept sign-ups from personal email addresses, like Gmail or similar inboxes. Using your company email connects your account to the right company and makes it easier to invite teammates later.

After signing up, check your inbox and confirm your email by clicking the link we send you. You'll need to confirm your email before you can start exploring Product Fruits.

Create Your First Workspace

Once your account is confirmed, we'll ask you a few details about your company and product. These are used to set up your first workspace.

A workspace is essentially a separate container for your Product Fruits content and settings. Depending on how your team works, you might use different workspaces for things like:

  • A testing environment
  • A live production environment
  • Different products or applications

The company or product name you enter during setup becomes the name of your first workspace. Don't worry if it's not exactly right. You can rename it later.

How Many Workspaces Can You Have?

That depends on your plan. If you need separate workspaces for testing, production, or multiple products, check your plan details on the pricing page.

Invite Teammates

During setup, you may be asked if you'd like to invite teammates. You can add their company email addresses now, or skip this step and invite them later. If you're still getting familiar with Product Fruits, it's completely fine to continue on your own for now.

You might also see an option called Automatically approve coworkers. If this is turned on, teammates who sign up with the same company email domain can join without waiting for manual approval. For example, if your company uses yourcompany.com, others with that domain would be approved automatically.

If you're not sure yet, it's fine to leave this off and invite teammates manually later.

Manage Teammate Permissions

If you're an Owner or Manager, you can manage what teammates are allowed to do in Product Fruits. Permissions help prevent accidental changes, such as:

  • Editing content before it's ready
  • Publishing content too early
  • Deleting workspace content
  • Changing settings without approval

You don't need to configure every permission during your first setup. It's enough to know they're available once your team starts working together.

You can learn more here: User Permissions and Role Management.

Can You Delete a Workspace Later?

Yes, if you have the right permissions.

Workspace deletion is permanent, so it's worth doing carefully. Only users with the required permissions can delete a workspace.

Invitation Issue: User Already Belongs to Another Company

When inviting a teammate, you may see an error saying the user already belongs to another company. This usually just means they've already created a separate Product Fruits account somewhere else.

Right now, a user can't belong to multiple companies at once. To join your company, they'll need to delete their existing account first from their profile page.

After that, it can take a little time for the change to be reflected in the system. If the invitation doesn't work right away, wait a bit and try again.
